A bit about Amy
Amy is a Journalist, Copywriter, Photographer and Book Editor. Her work has appeared in regional newspapers and online through a variety of media outlets. As a Copywriter, Amy creates copy for enterprise-level corporations.
She is the writer and creator of “Stringer,” a half-hour dramedy based on her life as a stringer- a freelance music journalist and photographer- and a single mom.
The series touches on modern parenting, the current state of journalism, single-parenthood, raising children with neuro-developmental conditions, the challenges of working in a male-dominated field, low-income and public assistance realities, music culture and so much more.
Stringer has been reviewed by Amazon Studios, Fox Writers Lab, ScriptPipeline, Colorado Office of Film, TV & Media and a private script consultant.
Her current WIP (work in progress) is Lowlife, memoir-style vignettes and personal essays.
Amy began her professional photography career in 2010 as a music festival photographer. In 2011, she established the photo series The Shands Project and Undivided Love: The Stories of Cleft Affected Families. Amy is available for portrait sessions, weddings, events and product photography.
